2. For those of you with small children, how do you protect/share your collection? Skullface, are your little ones allowed in your man cave? Did you have a time with little ones without a man cave?

joe b - how did shattered caast come to be
chava cho - With so many toys being done by 3rd party and official , what's an acceptable loss when selling old versions to get new ones on eBay. I'm new to ebay. Should I go the extra inch and pack / ship how I would want to receive. Should we hold on to older masterpiece and generations figures...will these lines become the new G1 as far as updated figure collecting. Will they gain value eventually once it's all said and done.
james c - Question. Will there be the next big action figure style toy that will inspire kids enough to grow up and want to collect. Only things I think that would be close is the Pokemon, and the other card style games
joe k w - Question for the podcast. I'd like to know everyone's thoughts on buying/selling KO vs used. I know a lot of people are against KOs because it's like stealing money/sales from the originator, but aren't used items essentially the same thing? Other than the moral/ethics, at the end of the day they have the same effect. Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts.

prevalent or more as it is in the Transformers line? If not, why do you
think that is so (regulation, lack of interest)? If there are other lines
where 3P is just as prevalent how has that industry responded/how long has that
3P industry been active?

Anotine - So since there are bigger toy companies in the asian markets, who are actually much bigger than bbts,Tfsource etc, as being the controllers of what get released and how much to sell for (mainly third-party , how do you guys feel about that , and could that be the reason why third-party prices are priced so high on certain figures?

antoine in the next 5 years how do you see 3rd party evolving?
james cain - do we hate the bayformers because they suck? or do we hate them because the movies were disappointing
joe b: Question for the group: How would you like to see 3rd Party companies interact with the fandom, and who seems to be setting the best example(s) to this point? Personally, I like early project reveals with regular (monthly) updates, accurate (or close) expected ship dates, and good responsiveness to critical feedback. Basically, good communication goes a long way with me, as in any relationship. And, bad news today is better than bad news tomorrow. Is this expecting too much? Also, should we even be seeing pre-production REVIEWS, or just the reviewer giving the factory feedback on the early sample? I would love to hear the group on this, AND maybe some of these companies will hear and apply? Thanks!!!

I know we seem to have personal preferences for using the term, but what are the characteristics that, as a group, everyone can agree on, for an "official Shattered Cast definition of Masterpiece"? Examples could be: 1) based on MP-10 scale, 2) modes based on the G1 cartoon, etc. Or, should the definition simply remain in the eye of the beholder? Thanks again!
