Dear Shattered Cast Crew,

A Hasbro question per request of Mr. Deluxe...

I would love to hear the Crew's thoughts regarding how Hasbro goes about deciding which MP figures they end up offering in the States. Other than potential licensing issues, I cannot understand what their thought process must be. We have yet to get a U.S. release for any of the Lamborghini Bros, but we have gotten both Prowl and Bluestreak. We have gotten Bumblebee...but then no Wheeljack. Ultra Magnus seems like it would be an obvious mold for a domestic release...but we have heard nothing so far. It would be one thing if we hadn't gotten the Seeker mold a half-dozen times...and some of those ended up being shelf sitters. It just seems confusing. I'd love to hear what the Crew thinks. What factors do you guys think weigh in on Hasbro's decision-making process?

Dear Shattered Cast Crew,

Last week I asked you guys which of the third parties you felt had the strongest upcoming line-up of figures, and it sounded like the consensus was that FansToys was the top dog. Expanding on that discussion, and given that we all agree that FansToys reigns supreme, I was wondering what advice you would give to FansToys for improving their already amazing company in the future. I know we have all commented that FansToys could do better when it comes to nailing tolerances across an entire figure, but is there anything else they could be doing to improve? For example, are they taking on too many projects at once? Is the fandom truly sick of getting so many renders? I am looking for your thoughts regarding what FansToys should be thinking about if it wants to make sure it keeps the crown in 2017 and beyond.

We have a ton of great figures coming our way from our top-tier third party companies. I would love to hear which company the Crew thinks has the most exciting lineup of upcoming figures. In considering your response, I would prefer that you ignore past releases, and focus on what each company plans to release between now and the end of 2017. I figure the 2017 date prevents Fans Toys from stealing the top spot with their Omega Supreme trump card.

Hey Guys, shooting a few questions for you this fine day.

First off, I recently decided to cut the Japane se continuum from my collection goals. Even though I thoroughly enjoyed the Japanese series, I just don't have the same connection to the characters as I do G1. In doing so, I am able to to free up some funds later down the road to delve into other lines that Im just as passionate about (Marvel, DC, TMNT Ect..). So my question to you guys is that. Have any of you made or thought about cutting your transformers collection short,to go into other ventures? If so, what was your reasoning?

My second question for the day is now that FT unveiled omega, do you think its in the realm of possibility that we could see the city bots come into fruition. Even if just slightly larger and not necessarily in scale, but right out of the cartoon versions of metroplex and trypticon, would you be in on it.

Why is official MP seemingly getting more expensive while 3P is getting cheaper?

Dear Shattered Cast Crew,

Don't mess with Optimus...

At TFCon Chicago, we got to see ThreeA's upcoming officially licensed Generation 1-inspired Optimus Prime figure (more of a pose-able statue), as well as an early prototype of their future Generation 1-inspired Megatron display piece. I could not have had a more different reaction to these two offerings. I absolutely loved how the artist (Ashley Wood - from Lenny's Island) adapted Megatron...but I hated what he did with Optimus Prime. Similarly, I am almost angry with what Toyworld is doing with their upcoming MP-scaled Orion figure. Tires on his ass? Come on. Anyway, this all got me to thinking, "Do I give artists more leeway to play with characters not named Optimus Prime?" I'd love to hear the SCU guys take on this one.

What if you ran into that Transformers fairy again...

In one of my early questions to the cast, I had asked what you would do if you ran into a magic Transformers fairy. Coming off an amazing TFCon weekend, I had a question that references that same fairy. If tomorrow one of you was placed in charge of all future TFCons, what changes would you make to the format and content of the event? Now let's say you were running TFCon AND you happened to stumble into that ring of energon where the Transformers fairy lived...and that fairy granted you the ability to do ANYTHING you wanted to with the convention...what outlandish additions would you want to make to the convention then? I'd love to hear from each of the SCU guys, understanding that not everyone made it to this year's show.
